Shock’s life surprisingly unfolded precisely next to his name. At least the most of it did!
Shock was turned up to a shelter in Pennsylvania after fifteen blissful years of being loved and cared for by those who cared for him. Why? His parents were no longer able to provide for him.
Imagine how shocked he was!
This enormous boi was hit like never before by having everything and then losing it all in a matter of days. He shut down almost entirely, as was to be expected, and failed to recognize that there was light at the end of the tunnel.
He Was In Terrible Condition
Shock was a completely different person when he initially got to ACCT Philly. Shock’s physical state was far from ideal, aside from his advanced age and the recent shattering of his heart into a million pieces.
His vision was severely impaired, his entire body was covered in mats, and his head tilted, making it difficult for him to walk.
His nails were so overgrown that they appeared to have been an afterthought, and his body was covered in painful, thick mats. According to a Facebook post by the Pennsylvania SPCA, a serious infection or injury tilted his head, causing him to trip and fall frequently. Cataracts further obscured his vision.
This elderly boy was eventually transferred to the Pennsylvania SPCA, which volunteered to look after him during this period. However, there was absolutely no hope for his recovery among the shelter workers.
They were even positive that Shock was near death at one point. Something incredible occurred just as they were getting ready to say farewell to a dog that had already endured so much in the past.
Everyone was surprised with shock. This older boy started to get better, albeit slowly, and showed off his spark and tail wags as the best way to express that he was still in it for the long haul.
It goes without saying that the entire shelter is overjoyed!
Shock is prepared for the opportunity to be protected, loved, and treasured in his last years, despite the fact that his background may have been replete with misery and abandonment, the SPCA continued.
Shock gradually recovered completely and was prepared to start a brand-new, exciting journey in life. He behaved like a fresh puppy, seeking opportunity despite his advanced age!

As you may imagine, the post quickly gained a lot of popularity and won over thousands of Shock’s fans nationwide. Shock was finally given another chance after going through all the difficulties of the previous few months. And he accepted it!
