Shelter Staff Was In Disbelief After Owners Abandoned Their Dog Because ‘She Couldn’t Cope With Their New Baby’

Ally has been living the life of a princess for the past three years. She had all she could possibly want and more with her other two doggo siblings, Frank and Jim.

Then everything changed all of a sudden.

She was suddenly at a shelter, surrounded by unidentified pets, and startled by loud noises. Her home, which had once been comfortable and tranquil, was now a place of anxiety and uncertainty.

She Was Devastated

With her family, this eight-year-old Greyhound girl had many happy years. All she had ever known and loved were her hoomans and her two other Greyhound brothers, Jim and Frank.

That was before everything abruptly changed after her owners were blessed with a baby.

The family soon discovered that the dogs were unable to handle this new situation, and all three of them ended up losing everything they had when they were placed at Clarks Farm Greyhound Rehoming Centre.

Ally found this transition very challenging; she shut down and became very depressed right away.

After three years, when a baby upended her world and left her and her siblings struggling, she returned, having endured a great deal. The rescue noted in a TikTok post that Ally’s spirit is damaged and that she needs someone to be her light, to heal her heart, and to give her the happiness she deserves.

Ally’s situation worsened when her brother, Frank, had to be taken out of the group due to a complex leg injury that required surgery and a lengthy recuperation period.

Jim and his sister found themselves alone in this world, distant from anything that even vaguely brought back memories of their former home. This devoted pair hoped for a quick change while stuck in tiny kennels, but no one appeared interested in adopting them.

Still Waiting For Someone Special

Ally and Jim still haven’t found their forever home, even after the rescue placed numerous appeals on social media. Because of their coat color, these black dogs are frequently ignored and passed on.

It has been a difficult trip for these two incredible canines, who are still looking for their permanent home. The rescue said, “We’ve made our special appeals, but luck hasn’t been on their side yet.”

The rescue crew is devastated beyond belief. They claim that once given the chance to show their genuine selves, both dogs become true sweethearts.

Since Ally and Jim truly don’t know what life would be like without one another, they would adore it if their new family could accommodate both of them. They want a quiet, low-key setting with only adults and no other pets.
