Nothing significant happened that day, as far as Belle was concerned.

She wasn’t prepared for this kind of surprise, much less for someone to require her assistance.

That day, Belle was hurried to the opposite side of the street as soon as she left her friend’s house.

She was really needed by someone.

Who might it be?

Surprises Never End

That day, Belle Bermudez was leaving her friend’s house in South California when she noticed a woman calling out to her with a desperate wave.

Belle didn’t pause for a second, even if something seemed strange. Anyone in need of her assistance needed it quickly.

Belle was taken to a wooded location by the woman who was waving at her, where she saw something fluffy curled in the bushes.

Despite being extremely matted and unkempt, the dog was nonetheless alive and well.

Belle and the woman were aware that they needed to act quickly. However, how can you save a dog that refuses to even look at people because she is so afraid of them?

Somehow, the dog gave up and let Belle take her with her after telling her that they wouldn’t hurt her.

She gave the dog the name Swiftie, and she was instantly scanned for a microchip to determine her ownership. Unfortunately, there was no good result. Without a home or a human to take her back, Swiftie was a stray.

At that point, Belle realized she needed to intervene and provide Swiftie with a temporary home.

To get assistance cleaning the dog, Belle called a friend. Her coat was heavily overgrown and matted, and she was filthy and in horrible shape.

Following Swiftie’s washing and drying, the two pals made the decision to give her a new haircut in order to start over.

They had no idea that Swiftie was concealing a huge surprise that would soon be revealed.

What might it be?

I Like Your Plan, But I Have A Better One

Bella and her companion could plainly see it now that all of the additional coat was gone:

Swiftie was expecting a child!

Because of all that covering, her enormous tummy was barely perceptible. When they stripped it down, it revealed that Swiftie was about to give birth any day.

Belle decided it would be best to ask some at the local shelters if they could take Swiftie in.

This way I could be confident that she and her puppies would be well taken care of, Belle said. I planned to take her there as soon as they opened at 10 a.m. the following morning.

However, Swiftie had other plans.

That morning, when Belle woke up to bring her to the shelter, she noticed that Swiftie was acting very strange. Could it be? Was Swiftie about to give birth?

The plan was to keep them just for a while until Swiftie recovered from the birth.

Then the two tinies started losing weight, and I began supplementing them with formula and Nutrical and decided to keep them for five to seven days until everyone stabilized. Then that turned into 10 to 14 days. Then we decided that we would foster everyone for the eight weeks and find homes for everyone. Both [my] husband and I got attached to making sure they grow and thrive. , said Belle.
