Dogs are referred to as men’s best friends for good reason. There are moments when words cannot express the devotion and love these furry friends have for their favorite humans.

But it is when the dog is gone that the strength of the relationship between the dog and its owner is most apparent. We are left with no choice but to grieve when our best buddy passes away. However, we will do everything in our power to locate a lost dog.

When a blind family dog disappeared, one owner took exactly this action. He worked tirelessly to find him, and when they were reunited, it was the most exquisite scene, even captured on camera by a drone.

The Absolute Joy Of Reunion

On Friday, October 20, 2024, Molly, an 11-year-old dog, vanished from the family property. Mike Herridge, her distraught owner, made every effort to locate her, but to no avail.

That is, until he and his daughter, Natalie, decided to find her by hiring a rescue drone company. The drone found a dog in a vast field after it had been lost for three days.Mike hurried to that location as soon as he received the call to check if it was his Molly.

Upon arriving and exiting his vehicle, he realized it was, in fact, her. She couldn’t first recognize him as her favorite person because she was blind, but he rushed joyfully in her direction.

However, her tail began to wag wildly from the delight of being near her cherished father as soon as she sniffed him.

He gave her a few quick strokes before they headed to the car and she was soon on her way to her rightful place.

This lovely moment of reunion was filmed by the drone, and the touching video quickly won over many hearts online.

Tense Search With The Happiest Ending

Mike and his family didn’t think they would ever see Molly again after she got lost.

To tell the truth, I didn’t think we would find her alive. I began searching for holes or ditches where she might have fallen. She is not very mobile and is totally blind.Mike stated in his Daily Mail interview.

They were unwilling to give up, though, and soon his eldest daughter, Natalie, had an idea. She got in touch with Drone To Home, a rescue group that uses drones to look for lost dogs.

It quickly became clear that it was a brilliant concept because the drone found the dog in less than two hours.

Lastly, Phil James, CEO of Drone To Home, expressed his happiness with the happy ending as well, saying that although he doesn’t get emotional very frequently, this particular occasion made him cry.

He concluded by saying that he is thrilled that his business makes dog owners happy every day, just as it did for Mike and his family and their pets.

“Our virtual call center receives approximately 40 calls and messages every day on average, and we have 11 trained volunteers who answer the phones,” he said.We all have the greatest jobs in the world and enjoy what we do.
