Loyal Dog Sneaks Into His Brother’s Room Every Night To Check On Him, Until Heartbreak Sets Them Apart

Kendall is one of those people who just comes naturally!

Kendall instantly entered nanny mode and embraced her sibling warmly when her owners brought their new baby home. She soon started doing much more, leaving her parents absolutely perplexed!

She s A Natural Babysitter

After her family abandoned her, Kendall was taken from a high-euthanasia shelter by her owner, Emily Wright.

They gave up a truly precious dog, but she wouldn’t have been a member of our family if they hadn’t. She added, “Best dog ever.”

She never turned back after being brought home with her dog-loving brother, Tiger. In ways they could never have predicted, the two improved the lives of their Texas family, but soon Kendall went above and beyond!

Kendall went straight into motherhood after the birth of their baby, Austin.

Emily told The Dodoin in an interview that garnered national attention that she immediately jumped into motherhood when Austin was born!

Kendall started to visit him in his room to see how he was doing, giving him a gentle head lick. Through their baby monitor, Emily and her husband saw this endearing sight many times, and they were unable to control their enthusiasm.

Austin now had a babysitter that he had not requested, yet their relationship was so endearing.

Austin and Kendall eventually become inseparable. Despite his furry friend’s constant caring behavior around him, they became the best of friends.

The family prospered until a veterinarian visit one day completely upended everything.

Coping With The Bad News

Kendall had been feeling ill for days, and the family noticed. They made the quick decision to take her to the veterinarian since she was having trouble swallowing food.

Unfortunately, the family was given the worst news conceivable following a comprehensive examination. Kendall, their beloved momma dog, wasdiagnosed withlymphoblastic lymphoma.

Crushed and devastated by this horrible situation, Emily and her husband immediately searched for a solution that would prolong Kendall s good days and eventually found one.

Thanks to several different organizations that help owners finance their dogs treatments, theymanaged to fund Kendall s chemotherapy.

To everyone s excitement this loving Golden Retriever responded remarkably well!

In October 2024,Lexi s Legacy Foundation, based in Irvine, California, shared tear-jerking news: after months of treatment and endless sleepless nights, Kendall wasfinally in remission.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Kendall s family and the kind-hearted individuals who cared for her, this nine-year-old beauty was finally able to resume her daily activities.

And her remission couldn t have come at a better time!

Emily and her husband welcomed another baby, Amon, into their lives, and Kendall naturally went straight back into nanny mode!

She is now helping rear offspring #2 and my heart just can t take it,Emily wrote on Facebook.

Emily hopes Kendall will create many more happy memories with the family. So far, she s doing great, soaking up all the beauty of her life andenjoying her role as a nanny once again.
