He was discovered on a curbside in the center of San Jose, California, inside an abandoned box. He was too young and alone to be alone.
He battled valiantly to live and prosper in a world that has embraced him with wide arms, and his narrative is one of resiliency, love, and newly discovered courage.
If the people who spotted him hadn’t taken immediate action, this adorable puppy with the prettiest face ever probably wouldn’t have survived.
Little, But Fierce
You could hold him in your palm. Ashley Kotkin, Jackson’s foster mother extraordinaire, stated that he weighed less than a pound.
Ashley was called by her friends regarding a small dog that they saw on the street in need of assistance. As an avid animal lover and rescuer herself, she was unable to refuse.
Jackson was very pale, covered in flea filth, and had scaling urine when he arrived.
It was difficult to feed him when he was maybe three weeks old.Ashley told The Dodo, “I spent a lot of time with him to make sure he was eating enough.”
Ashley chose to take Jackson to the veterinarian after quickly seeing that something wasn’t quite right with him.
Fortunately, a foster-based rescue from Santa Clara, California named Every Pet’s Dream agreed to sponsor him right away.
He ended up requiring two blood transfusions in addition to additional veterinary care after the clinic determined that his blood levels were really low and that he was seriously anemic.
Additionally, the veterinary technicians concluded that he had some form of hearing impairment and was effectively blind.
Fortunately, Jackson was feeling better after a few days at the veterinary hospital and the right medication.
He began to put on a few pounds and was getting his energy back.
Jackson has a lovely personality and is a true fighter.

Jackson’s condition gradually got better, and his personality definitely began to show.
We’re assisting him in adjusting to his environment. “His other senses are definitely heightened because of his challenges,” Ashley added.
He even acquired the ability to roar. Those were the sweetest tiny growls ever, to be honest, but still. He has been dubbed Jackson Growlaxy as a result.
Ashley claimed that in addition to being loved, he has been provided with what he needs to grow up strong and lead the happiest life possible.
Jackson survived and developed into a lovely, healthy boy because to Ashley and her unwavering love and care.
Jackson, who was just three weeks old, had a difficult puppyhood and was not predicted to live, but he proved everyone wrong.
At his forever home, Jackson, now known as Bouis, is leading a lovely life.
