Adorable Shelter Dog Who Struggled To Find A Home For Months Finally Meets His Forever Family

Carter was discovered in a parking lot in August 2024 and taken to the Greene County Animal Shelter in Ruckersville, Virginia.

The shelter discovered his former adopters, who had given him up to another shelter years prior, after scanning him for a microchip.

They were unable to take Carter back since the rescue where he was adopted was overloaded.
