Driver transported to New Bedford hospital after early morning crash into a tree

On Sunday, crews responded to a crash near Lakeville early in the morning.

The Lakeville Fire Department reports that the collision happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. near 140 Howland Road.

When his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree, an adult guy was hurt. At the time of the collision, there was light snow on the roads.

After being freed, the patient was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital. It doesn’t seem like his wounds are life-threatening.

Ambulance 3, Ambulance 1, Engine 1, Car 2, and Car 1 were among the responses.
