Shortly after being detained, a passenger on a cruise ship who was seen on camera acting in a disruptive manner passed away.
In a report by FOX 11, it was reported that Michael Virgil, who is 35 years old, was observed attempting to kick down a door on a ship shortly after it had departed the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal and was heading to Ensenada, Mexico.
Christifer Mikhail, a guest on the cruise, said to the local station that the drunken gentleman had threatened to kill any of the passengers on the ship. “He started chasing us down the hallway.”
It has been reported that Virgil assaulted two members of the Royal Caribbean staff who were working aboard the Navigator of the Seas. Virgil was attempting to break down a door that led to a towel room in order to reach one of the crew members.
In his words, “I was kind of scared,” Mikhail stated. “I’m stuck in this hallway.”
There were allegations that Virgil was using obscenities and making racist insults.
FOX 11 stated that the security personnel used either pepper spray or bear spray, towels, zip ties, and handcuffs to detain him. Meanwhile, the video showed him without a shirt on before they restrained him.
After receiving an injection of some kind of anesthetic from security, Virgil passed away within an hour, according to a member of his family who spoke to FOX 11. These individuals stated that the event in question was not typical of him.
According to the family who spoke to FOX 11, “He did not deserve to die over it.”
According to the station, Virigl is responsible for leaving behind a wife and a boy who was seven years old and who were also on the cruise with him.

The precise reason for Virgil’s passing is not yet known; however, FOX 11 has stated that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into the situation. In response to a question from Fox News Digital about the current state of the probe, the Federal Bureau of probe has not provided a response.
