For the vast majority of stray dogs, life is as uncertain as it gets. Every day is a battle fraught with unknowns and difficulties.
Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to witness these four-legged dogs suffering serious injuries or even losing their lives as a result of their incapacity to protect themselves from numerous threats on the streets.
The kind staff of Paw Squadron recently witnessed one such instance. About a mother dog and her five puppies wandering the neighborhood road, they got a call. But when they got to the location, they saw a terrifying scenario.
They Lost Everything
Two small puppy sisters can be seen hiding in surrounding bushes in the sorrowful video that the rescue posted. Before realizing that the man who was approaching them was genuinely trying to assist them, they remained close to one another.
As soon as they realized, they rushed to him, seemingly seeking solace in his tender embrace. The rescuer quickly discovered why they were so disturbed and upset.
Sadly, the man found out thatthe rest of the family didn t make itafter a fatal car accident. Their two sisters were left alone in this world with no one to look after them when they crossed the rainbow bridge.
Without food or water around, they struggled to survive for days while clinging to the bushes on the side of the road.
The pups stayed cuddled up to each other when the rescuer picked them up and put them in a car. They had no desire to be apart at all.They wanted to be as close as possible because they only knew one another.
They slept for the remainder of the journey to their new residence. The puppies yearned for a safe sanctuary since they were so tired.
As they drifted off to sleep, their teeny-tiny bodies explored the peaceful dreamland for the first time in what seemed like forever. Seeing them at peace was incredibly satisfying.
Love Heals All Wounds
The next day, the rescuer gave them a nice, warm bath and then took them for their first vet checkup.
During the exam,one of the pups was diagnosed with eye problems, which required immediate attention and medication. Other than that, both pups had no other health issues and were ready to embark upon a new life chapter.
Thanks to the kind rescuer who found them and gave them a second chance,the pups were finally able to search for their forever homes.
When they are fully ready and recovered, they both will be waiting for the right family, preferably the one that is ready to accept them both.
After all the storms they weathered in the past, that s the least they deserve!
