The new location of a former Fall River eatery has set an opening date.
On December 16th, the Acores Family Restaurant, which was formerly housed inside the St. John’s Athletic Club at 1365 Rodman Street, posted on social media that they were relocating to Swansea.
We are incredibly happy and grateful to God for making this new journey possible. We may safely assume that we will be relocating. Until Saturday, December 28, 2024, we will continue to operate out of St. John’s Club, located at 1365 Rodman Street. We will continue to deliver to our customers using DoorDash, and our phone number will not change. We are excited for you all to visit our new site in Swansea and look forward to sharing this new experience with you all. Everyone will continue to get updates regarding the new location’s opening date. We want to use this opportunity to express our gratitude to each and every one of you for your ongoing patronage and assistance. Additionally, we would like to express our gratitude to our employees for their support and loyalty during this process. We are incredibly appreciative. Luis and I are excited to share this new journey with you all because we know it will be amazing!
With a grand opening date of January 16th, Acores, which launched in March of this year, will move to 317 Ocean Grove Avenue, the old Ocean Grove Portuguese Steakhouse.
The restaurant will not accept reservations this weekend and will not serve alcohol until its license is authorized.
Acores specializes in real Portuguese food, including sandwiches, fish & chips, chourico, surf and turf, and chicken/shrimp Mozambique. There are also salads, soups, desserts, and a kid’s menu.
The restaurant will be introducing a second phone number coming Thursday, although the current one is (508) 400-3506.
