Ohio Woman Decides To Volunteer At Animal Shelter, Soon Falls In Love With The Perfect Dog

The reason so many people keep dogs as family members is because they are easy to fall in love with.

But not everyone has the money to own a dog. These individuals make up for that by helping at different shelters and rescue groups.

That’s what one woman from Cincinnati, Ohio did. She chose to volunteer at her local shelter and frequently take the dogs on day outings because she loves dogs but doesn’t have any at home.

At the end of the day, every dog—aside from one Bully mix—would go back to their kennel.

Love At First Paw

Despite never having a dog at home, Julia Zupan, who resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, has always loved the company of dogs.

She chose to volunteer at her neighborhood shelter, Cincinnati Animal Care, in order to dedicate her leisure time to these furry friends.

Since she frequently took the shelter dogs on day trips, she truly enjoyed it. This greatly helped the dogs as they had an opportunity to relax, sleep, and play in addition to her spending quality time with them.

Additionally, she consistently photographed them and shared them on social media, which raised the likelihood that they would be adopted. The worst part for Julia was having to take all the dogs back to the kennel at the end of the day, but that’s just the way it went.

She couldn’t have imagined, though, that one day that would alter when she went on a day excursion with a meta Bully mix named Margotand.

They had planned to tour Cincinnati after seeing her home, but something happened in the middle of the day that threw their plans for a loop.

Within an hour, Julia and Margot had become so close that Julia lay down on her entire body and slept for a long time.

When Julia finally understood how much she enjoyed this dog’s personality, it was one of the most lovely moments of her life.At first sight, it was love.

She had never considered adopting a dog before, but now that she had a new family member, she had no doubts about it!

Meant For Each Other

Apart from the fact that Margot was discovered in a parking lot and that the woman who found her was very kind to her, Julia knew very little about her past.

Additionally, she was aware that Margot was a reactive dog, meaning that she exhibited intense emotions when on a leash. This may have contributed to her misinterpretation and prolonged suffering in the shelter.

However, when she met Julia, her soulmate, everything changed in a single day. From the first day, they had a close bond that held throughout the days they spent together.

It would be an understatement to say that Margot just liked the company of dogs, and Julia even more so. She was actually leading the best life possible.

It is important to note that, in the interim, Julia frequently shared videos of Margot with her, many of which went viral, making her a sort of TikTok celebrity.

These movies dispelled all preconceived notions about supposedly unadoptable canines while still honoring the bond between a dog and its owner.

Margot is a real-life illustration of how all canines deserve love—all they need is an opportunity to express it.
