The staff at Cincinnati Animal CARE in Ohio saw right away that Damon was a cheerful and energetic dog when he first arrived, so they put him available for adoption.
He stayed there for months in the hopes that someone would come and take him to his new home, but that never happened despite his endearing personality.
A few canines were allowed to spend each day at the offices because the crew was finding it difficult to care for all the dogs due to their sheer number.
Among them was Damon.”He was living in the behavior office, but they needed their space to work with more dogs in need,” Ray Anderson, a Cincinnati Animal Care employee, told The Dodo. “He had really bonded with Sydney, our foster specialist.” So he spent some time living there!
Damon was in his office that day, but Sydney was quite busy, so he left to attend a meeting.

After Sydney left the room, Damon decided it was time to throw a party and tore up every toy in the room.

“I think the official number of toys destroyed was all of them,” Anderson stated.He discovered an abundance of joy because the foster office is stocked with treats for our foster families to take home.
They couldn’t be angry with him because he appeared so content when they discovered him in the office.
He added, “It was a particularly chaotic day at the shelter (though they’re all pretty chaotic), and it was just hilarious to walk in and see that.” How could you be angry at that look when he was having so much fun?
