The former Pizzeria Uno’s at 904 County Street on Route 140 is set to become the third location for Free Play Bar Arcade, which also has locations in Providence and Worcester.
With a full bar, bar pizza, karaoke, and live band/dj entertainment on weekends, Free Play Bar Arcade is an arcade for adults aged 21 and older. Children of all ages are welcome on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and they close for an hour before reopening at 5 p.m. for those over 21. Every day of the week, they will be open. Birthday celebrations will also be held on Saturday and Sunday during the Family Days.
Free Play Bar Arcade is unique in that all video games are free to play inside (no coins!), but there is a cover fee to enter the place. If there is entertainment, admission is $7 on weekdays and $12 on weekends; otherwise, it could be less expensive.
A total of 105 video games, including dancing games, pinball, skee-ball, and retro games, will be available at the new Taunton site. To the right of the old Uno’s, they have planned an outdoor space that will be enclosed for year-round use next to the entertainment venue.

FPBA intends to contact Taunton and Bristol-Plymouth High Schools for organizing extracurricular activities for high school students. Additionally, since they start at $18 per hour, they will contact the City when they are prepared to hire.
