You never know when a major surprise is going to happen to you, or how you’ll respond when it happens.
Zo, a resident of Atlanta, Georgia, woke up one morning and frequently stepped out into her front porch. However, that’s when it hit her! She stumbled into the largest furry surprise cuddled up on their bench right there.
Zo was completely taken aback by this odd sight and was unsure of what to think, but she felt she had to help.
How Did He Get There
Zo noticed it was a very skinny stray dog curled up in a ball as she got a little closer. Even more tragic is the fact that this terrified dog was attempting to blend in with the surroundings and cover his face with his tail.
Zo demonstrated the severity of the dog’s trauma in a TikTok video that went viral right away.
She stated in the description, “I woke up to a stray dog sleeping on our front porch.”
Until he learned the person who had just bumped into him was there to help, he physically trembled in terror all the time.
In no time, the video’s comment box was overflowing with sorrowful responses!
putting both his paw and tail over his face. One person said, “I hope he has many years of happiness.”
He is attempting to make himself invisible, which is quite sad. All he wanted was a place to sleep that was safe. Another said, “I wish I could save them all.”
Zo hurried to find a solution after first looking for his microchip. Despite wearing a collar around his neck, which was a fairly reliable sign that he had been abandoned, the dog sadly had no information.
Then, when a neighbor volunteered to temporarily foster the dog—later named Capital—a ray of hope appeared. Zo, who already had a one-year-old infant and two aggressive dogs, was incredibly grateful.
Unfortunately, the matter was far from resolved.
The neighbor told her that they had given the scared boi to a high-euthanasia animal shelter in Atlanta, Georgia, citing Capital’s reactiveness to their other dogs as the reason when she inquired about his condition the next day.
Without telling me, the person who volunteered to foster him took him to the Fulton County Animal Shelter, where they added Zo.
Capital Needs Help
Zo has been looking everywhere for his dream house ever since Capital was turned over to the shelter. She has been uploading cries on her TikTok account, devastated by her failure to adopt him, in the hopes that someone will ultimately get in touch and give Capital a chance.
Positively, a generous donor has already paid for the dog’s sorrowful adoption costs.
If anyone in Atlanta can help, he needs a place to live. Zo wrote, “His adoption fees have been paid.”
Capital hopes his adopters will arrive soon. Despite the horrific trauma he has recently experienced, his finder reports that this beautiful puppy is sociable and does not exhibit symptoms of hostility toward people.
He most definitely deserves someone who will finally be kind to him!
