The puppy continued to hope that someone would see her and come to her aid as she dragged her paws across the desolate streets.
Despite the harsh treatment she received from her masters, Kelly continued to have faith in the existence of decent people.
Kelly Arrives At The Shelter
As soon as they saw her on the streets, the rescuers from the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Humane Society of Broward County rushed to her aid.
When they saw how undernourished and neglected the puppy was, their hearts sank.
When Kelly first arrived at the shelter, her charming nature won over the workers. The dog loved being cuddled by her new friends, and she was ravenous for affection.
Kelly loves being with people and receiving attention; she is a true love bug. Susan Leonti, the Humane Society of Broward County’s digital marketing specialist, told Newsweek that she enjoys taking walks and playing with chew toys.
The employees wanted to locate Kelly a home as quickly as possible. Her companions from the shelter understood that the dog deserved to be placed in a loving home after everything she had been through in order to truly be happy.
Kelly’s video, which recounted her previous life, was shared on social media by the shelter.In the video, an eager puppy was seen waving her tail while standing in her kennel.
After seeing the film, a lovely couple who wanted to adopt their first dog together fell in love with Kelly.
When they arrived at the shelter in Florida the following day, they declared that Kelly had captured their hearts and that they were eager to bring her home.
The Short-Lived Happiness
The shelter staff was ecstatic, believing their girl had found happiness.
Kelly was giddy with anticipation on the day of her adoption. She had a smile on her face. She hurried to say farewell to her pals from the shelter.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. Her new parents brought her home with the intention of making her happy and showing her all of their love.
The adopters discovered that one of them had a dog allergy shortly after they brought Kelly home.Regretfully, the couple was forced to give the puppy back to the shelter.
Kelly experienced a brief moment of happiness before it was robbed from her.
The doggo was devastated when she discovered herself behind the kennel bars once more.
Kelly’s expression has been so dejected and anxious ever since she was brought back. She cries out to us and has a desperate expression on her face as we pass her kennel. “It’s just heartbreaking to witness,” Leonti continued.
Kelly needs her own humans, even though she adores and values her shelter pals.
For the first time in her existence, the puppy longs to experience true love.
I’m hoping Kelly’s desire may soon be realized. The loving puppy deserves to find loving parents who will spoil her and provide her joy.
