Every time I come across another story concerning animal abuse, I can’t help but feel devastated.
Cruel individuals abuse and mistreat their dogs instead of showing them unconditional love.
Baby Gina, a small dog, understands what it’s like to be neglected and abused. She longed for her owners’ affection, but regrettably, they mistreated her and abandoned her in a Bronx apartment complex.
Upon realizing she had been left behind, Baby Gina mustered the fortitude to drag her weary paws across the hallways. There was no one she could turn to for assistance.
Rushing Baby Gina To A Hospital
A generous resident hurried to investigate after spotting the hungry monster prowling the apartment complex.
The woman was startled to learn that the small, fuzzy figure she had been following was a brown and white puppy.
Gina was just skin and bones at birth.The puppy was hardly able to stand on her own two feet. She appeared bewildered and perplexed.
The concerned woman contacted New York’s NYC Second Chance Rescue, requesting their help.
The rescuers reached the area shortly after that. They were devastated to see Baby Gina.
They hurried baby Gina to the hospital.She was fatigued, throwing up, and in a really bad state.
She was examined and had blood tests done by the veterinary team.
In addition to having a urinary tract infection, baby Gina was anemic. Her veterinarians were concerned that she would develop refeeding syndrome, which can be fatal.
In order to ensure that the puppy received the right medical treatment, they developed a comprehensive strategy and provided her with rapid medical attention.
Both the rescuers and the veterinary team fervently hoped the pup would live.
So many things are unknown. All we can do is hope she makes it through. In a Facebook post, Second Chance Rescue stated that she was still a newborn.
The Puppy Starts Recovering
On social media, word of the puppy’s rescue traveled swiftly. Everyone wished Baby Gina a quick recovery and was concerned about her.
Gina was lovingly cared after and indulged by her caregivers. The puppy was appreciative of all the love and attention they gave her.
She began to feel better and come out of her shell gradually.
Gina is still in the hospital, but she is doing well; she is content, loved, and getting better. Second Chance posted on Facebook, “She even has a bunch of new sweaters to keep her warm while she gains weight.”
In order to bring the abuser of Baby Gina to justice, the authorities are investigating the matter and making every effort.
Gina’s friends are eager for the puppy to fully heal and begin searching for a home. The charming girl is deserving of a happy and loving existence.
