Cybersecdn- A perilous police chase in Houston, involving a stolen vehicle, culminated in the arrest of three individuals, including two teenagers. The chase, characterized by reckless driving and endangering public safety, was a cause of major concern for law enforcement and citizens alike.
Oscar Calles, a 17-year-old high school student, was identified as the driver of the stolen vehicle. He is accused of evading police and driving in the wrong direction on a busy road, posing a severe risk to oncoming traffic. Daniel Luna and Sarai Garcia, who were also in the vehicle, are accused of complicity in the crime, including throwing metal tools out of the vehicle and fleeing with stolen property.
The trio faces multiple charges, including engaging in organized criminal activity. Calles and Garcia are currently detained, while Luna has been released on bond. The chase, which involved almost causing multiple crashes on the Gulf Freeway feeder road, was captured on a dashcam video by an ABC13 viewer.
