Cybersecdn– Two suspected white supremacists are facing serious charges related to a double murder case that has shaken the community in Washington state. Brandon Gerner, aged 40, and Joshua Jones, aged 34, have been implicated in the killings of 57-year-old Robert Riley and 34-year-old Ashley Williams. The incident, described as a “drug deal gone bad,” has sent shockwaves through the region.
Prosecutors allege that Gerner orchestrated the murders, instructing another individual, Kody Olsen, to shoot Riley before stabbing Williams repeatedly. Tragically, Williams, a mother of five, was not only a victim but also a witness to the first murder. Olsen reportedly shot her when the knife used by Gerner broke during the altercation. Additionally, the suspects are accused of killing a dog on the property where the murders took place.
The bodies of Riley and Williams were discovered on November 16th near the Rock Creek Natural Area in Washington state by a man walking his dog. The gruesome scene, initially mistaken for trash, revealed the brutality of the crimes allegedly committed by Gerner and Jones.
Gerner, with a history of run-ins with the law including assault, burglary, and unlawful possession of firearms, has been identified as a founder of a white supremacist prison gang called Omerta. His release from prison just months before the double murder adds a chilling layer to the case, raising questions about the effectiveness of rehabilitation and monitoring of individuals with extremist ideologies.
The loss of Ashley Williams, described as a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend, has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with her funeral expenses, highlighting the financial strain her untimely death has placed on her loved ones.
In a tragic turn of events, one of the suspects, Kody Olsen, died in December, just a month after the killings, following a shootout with law enforcement officers. The unresolved nature of Olsen’s involvement adds complexity to the case and underscores the urgent need for justice and accountability.
