Border Patrol Agent Found A Severely Malnourished Puppy Who Was Struggling, So He Sprung Into Action

In a single day, Tika’s luck turned from bad to good.

This skeletal puppy was truly in her final moments on this planet, horribly malnourished and on the verge of death. Her face was covered in deep scars from the nasty beast that had attacked her.

Tika had lost up hope that her life would end out well as she waited for the time to close her eyes for the last time, but then a good-hearted Border Patrol agent happened to cross her path!

Saved At The Last Moment

It was genuinely excruciating for the agent to first meet Tika. This young girl had a severe infection as a result of the left side of her face being torn off.

The Buddy Foundation, located in Eagle Pass, Texas, posted on Facebook that TIKA was in agony in her final moments before being saved by a Border Patrol agent.

Although the exact cause of the attack is unknown, Tika’s condition spoke for itself.

The agent acted without hesitation. He saved Tika’s life at the last second by quickly transporting her to the refuge in Texas.She very certainly would not have lived if she had been in the bush for another day.

We are very happy that we discovered Tika at the right time since she is a walking miracle. According to Tika’s rescuers, she would not have made it through another day in her current state.

She had a long way to go, though. It was impossible for this poor little girl to eat or stand. The rescue moved her to a nearby veterinary clinic because she required expert assistance.

Tika was on an IV and got round-the-clock care during her first ten days in intensive care. She gradually started to feel better because of the perseverance of her caregivers.

It was a true blessing to see this for the first time from a syringe. It was a pivotal moment in her life, one that guaranteed Tika would emerge victorious from her struggle.

And she was victorious!

Everyone, Meet Princess Tika

Tika finally took her first steps after spending days at the Texas rescue, cuddled up on a blanket! That ultimately indicated that she was prepared for a foster home.

She was placed with a wonderful foster mother through the rescue, who embraced this little girl wholeheartedly. Like a young princess, Tika started to make friends, settle into the new setting, and completely come out of her shell.

Even the dog bed her mother had made for her was something she cherished about her new house.

Unfortunately, Tika experienced yet another setback in her life. Despite being diagnosed with canine epilepsy, which results in her infrequent seizures, she makes every effort to keep her identity intact. She is also undoubtedly a content dog that enjoys her new life!

Tika was eventually adopted following a few blissful weeks in a foster home. She now has a family that adores her unconditionally and a house of her own.

Tika has finally discovered what it means to be loved, leaving behind her previous life. And she is quite happy!
