0

The Christmas tree disposal schedule for this holiday season is released by the Department of Community Maintenance and the Office of Mayor Paul E. Coogan. On your regular garbage collection day in 2025, the weeks of January 6–10 and January 13–17 will be the times for Christmas tree pickup.

Trees must be positioned curbside next to garbage carts, and residents are reminded that they must be devoid of any coverings or decorations, including garland, lights, or ornaments.

During regular business hours, individuals who choose to dispose of their trees themselves can drop them off for free at the DCM facility, which is situated at 10 Lewiston St. It is open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Fall River citizens are wished a happy, healthy, and safe New Year by the Department of Community Maintenance and the Mayor’s Office.

Please call the Fall River Department of Community Maintenance at 508-324-2762 or the office of Mayor Paul Coogan at 508-324-2600 if you have any additional questions.
