To survive and develop into contented pups, newborns require the unwavering love and care of their mothers.
Unfortunately, some puppies do not get to spend their puppyhood with their mother and experience all of her affection.
One of the fur babies who was taken from his mother when he most needed her was Koby, a Pit Bull mix puppy.
Because Koby and his siblings weren’t pure Pit Bulls, their breeders dumped them in front of the South Carolina shelter.
The young brothers were gathered in a cardboard box, waiting for someone to show them love and sympathy, even though they wanted to be cuddled up next to their mother.
A New Life
As soon as the puppies were discovered, the shelter personnel took them in.
The siblings were taken into the care of Ollie’s Angels Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization based in New York, because the fur puppies were in the kill shelter.
Steven and Jessica, a married couple, went to the rescue in 2021 because they wanted to adopt a puppy.
When they first encountered Koby, a cute tan Pit Bull puppy, he captured their hearts.
When Steven and Jessica held Koby in their arms for the first time, he felt a deep connection to them.
“He just sank in our arms the first time we got to hold him,” Steven told GeoBeats Animals.
The couple took Koby to his forever home that same day.
It took Koby a while to get used to his new life. For the first few nights, the puppy had trouble sleeping.
His parents gave him a teddy animal with a heartbeat and warmth in the hopes that it would help him unwind. It was successful. Koby felt considerably better after finding solace in the toy.
The dog is pure affection. He enjoys cuddling with his father on the couch and sitting in his lap.
Steven had no idea how much Pit Bulls enjoyed cuddling with their people before Koby came into their lives.
Koby was reared as if he were their own kid by Steven and Jessica, who showered him with love.
The cute puppy becomes upset when he can’t spend all of his time with his parents since he wants to be with them constantly.
His eyes consistently convey his feelings to his parents.
It’s similar to staring at a human. “Just by looking at his eyes, you can tell exactly how he’s feeling,” Jessica told GeoBeats Animals.
Koby Adores His Parents
Steven and Jessica both observed the impact of Koby’s early separation from his mother. He missed her affection and warmth.
Koby loves his human parents with all of his heart.
When his human mother was pregnant, the adorable puppy showed a great deal of protectiveness toward her. He made sure that everything was okay by being by her side all the time.
He frequently put his head on his mother’s bump.
Koby’s favorite person is his father, even if he loves his mother. As he waits for his father to get home from work, the kind dog sits on the couch and gazes out the window.
Koby rushes to see his dad when he gets home and gives him a ton of kisses and cuddles.
According to Steven, Koby is like a son to him. When he returns home, he adores how Koby welcomes him. He and his spouse are unable to envision their lives without their boyfriend.
Koby occasionally shares updates about his ideal life with his family on Instagram. The adorable puppy grew up to be his human sister’s proud big brother. He adores her and keeps watch over her.
