A rescuer’s work is incredibly fulfilling, yet there are many instances in which they are left heartbroken.

Faith Easdale saw a small dog sitting near a busy road and saw that the dog was wearing a small pink frock.

She quickly came to the conclusion that someone already owned the puppy and that she was simply waiting for them to come get her. Unfortunately, Easdale saw the puppy resting in the same position when she passed that route a few days later.

Never-Ending Wait

Easdale was aware that this lovely girl would not leave since she believed her parents had just forgotten about her and would return at any time to pick her up.

The dog hung her head, her face flushed with anguish.

Working with Dream Fetchers, a California-based rescue, the rescuer decided she had to take action to assist this adorable dog who was decked out.

Oh no, I thought, sitting and waiting, poor little baby. I hurried outside, but I failed to spot her. Every time I worry, I hope they’ve found a safe place, but I kept looking. We began contacting locals after my friend and I met, Easdale recounted in a Facebook post.

After enquiring around, one man informed Easdale that he had seen the puppy hanging there for days on end and that she occasionally hid in the bushes when she was frightened.

Easdale searched every bush in the vicinity before locating the cute puppy.

It was the saddest sight to see her there as I walked silently. I entered softly after we carefully positioned the baby gates. Easdale wrote, “She was so scared.”

Easdale was able to gain the dog’s trust in record time after observing how sweet she was after spending some time with her.

She actually crawled on my lap and kissed me tenderly when I got her comfortable. Easdale wrote, “I took off that dirty dress, gave her a nice dinner, and gave her a soft blanket.”

Start Of Something New

Easdale gave her a much-needed bubble bath as soon as they arrived home and performed a quick examination to look for any apparent health problems.

Aside from her extremely matted coat, this girl appeared happy and healthy! Easdale also looked for a collar or microchip, but she was unsure whether someone had truly abandoned such a lovely puppy because she couldn’t find either.

Seldom do we know the story. If there is an owner, they should normally have arrived by now. Easdale told The Dodo that the place where she was waiting and sitting wasn’t ideal.

The amazing rescuer took this adorable puppy for a dog spa day the very next morning. She was really taken aback when she arrived to pick her up.The dog had changed completely!

She was finally ready to begin her new life by naming the puppy Sugar.

Like a tiny Cinderella tale, I feel like this is the pivotal moment a lot of the time. What keeps us doing this is giving them another chance. Continues to strive for better days, Easdale stated in a Facebook post.

Sugar is looking for a kind foster home where she may finally unwind and unwind. Easdale is confident that this cute girl will find a forever home without any problems after that.
