Dogs are generally cheerful and active creatures, but some of them are also rather quiet and reserved.
There are several possible causes for this. They may be cautious with everyone they meet because they are bashful or because they have had a traumatic occurrence.
Espy was a puppy who experienced just that. However, she was able to reveal her actual self after meeting a devoted family.
You Are Going Home
Espy, like other dogs, was unable to cope with her hoarding condition prior to moving into the Austin Animal Center. She needed a place where she could be herself with her own people.
Fortunately, all of this was given to her when her new family, Morgen and Allan, picked her up. Given that they were living with Morgen’s family and already had four pups, they were in no position to get another one, but they just couldn’t leave her.
Allan first made every effort to avoid becoming attached to Espy, but he was unable to resist her sweetness.
I knew Espy had to be mine after viewing her for a certain reason. Espy and I instantly became friends. In the backyard, we would always play with her frisbee while hiking in various outdoor parks, Morgen told Cuddle Buddies.
This adorable puppy was unstoppable until she finally came out of her shell, which took three years!
The Best Girl Around
Espy has been the most clinging puppy ever since she left the Austin shelter. She always makes it a point to welcome her mother with the greatest greeting when she gets home from work. Morgen always knows how much she was missed, whether he is sprinting to her or jumping at her feet.
She demands belly massages as soon as she sees her sitting on the couch, rolling over and flapping on her back.
Espy’s furry siblings are something she can’t get enough. She always feels the happiest when she has even brief playdates with them.And who is to blame for her?
It was evident that she had taught some of them how to play. I believe my mom was more of a sister to the foster dogs she brought into the family; she can be obnoxious, but she also says, “I can teach you things too.”
Even the coldest heart can be warmed by such a remarkable metamorphosis. It’s the nicest thing to go from a shy and timid puppy to a female who will stop at nothing to make you happy.
