If Bear could translate his excited barks into words, he would undoubtedly agree with the adage that “love finds its path.”
This wonderful furry boy had a difficult beginning in life after being abandoned by his former family.
Abandonment utterly destroyed his faith in others and his confidence. It took a lot for Bear to feel like his former self again, even though he was a really amiable dog. However, love found him and turned him into a lovebug.
This is his tale!
Left With His Sister At Only 5 Months Of Age
When Bear and his sister Heaven were brutally abandoned at a monastery, Bear’s life completely changed. Because he was useless, his prior owner no longer desired him. Bear’s world was devastated when he was five months old.
Lucky’s Legacy Rescue wrote on Facebook that they were just five months old when their owner abandoned them, claiming he had no need for them.
A local monk helped to ensure his safe transfer to Lucky’s Legacy.
Bear experienced affection for the first time during the rescue. Along with other dogs, he received loving care and attention, enjoyed tasty meals, playing, and lots of opportunities to interact with people.
Unfortunately, this adorable boy suffered as a result of the neglect. He refused to entirely give in and still had no complete faith in people, particularly males.
The phone then rang, and soon after, Bear’s new family arrived at the rescue location.
The couple who fell in love with Bear right away, Sam and Chloe, were more than delighted to bring him home.
It was the best choice they could have ever made, as it happened!
Bear s Life With His New Dad Is Beyond Amazing
Bear’s initial weeks in the new house weren’t particularly glamorous, to be fair. He still struggled with trust, and he preferred his mother over Sam. When Sam was nearby, he would even bark in displeasure.
Bear had no idea, however, that love would mend his heartbreak and turn him into a sucker for his new father. Bear quickly warmed up to Sam after realizing how much attention he was receiving.
He now acts like a real daddy’s son. When you get to spend that time with him it means even more because of how nervous he was with me at the start,Sam toldGeoBeats Animals.
The two now make every time special and are inseparable. Bear can’t get enough of it, whether it’s their amusing games in a park, their regular walks, or their beach outings!
“He’s the most excited dog I’ve ever seen to go for a walk,” adds Sam.
This rescued puppy has gradually discovered his place in the world and now calls it home. Bear spent the last few monthslearning how to overcome his separation anxiety and walk past strangers, and the results are incredibly good.
Bear isbuilding toward full confidencewith each new day. He decompressed a lot in his new home, ultimately forgetting about the harsh experience from the past that made him insecure in the first place.
He even has a friend a dog named Lucy who comes from Chloe s family.
Today, Bear and Lucy are officially best friends, with many exciting adventures waiting for them down the road. You can keep up with Bear and his family on hisInstagram account. I know I will!
