You have undoubtedly witnessed your share of heartbreaking animal mistreatment if you have been an animal rescuer for a while.
After 13 years of rescuing the animals of Brewster, New York, the amazing humans at Special Needs Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Northeast (SNARR) believed they had seen it all by this point.
But it became evident to them that surprises are still possible after they received a phone call detailing the tragic circumstances that two cute dogs faced.
Rescue Mission
The caller described how they had just seen a man toss two cute Labrador Retriever-mix puppies into a creek from a moving vehicle.
His brother was still making every effort to keep his head above the water, despite the fact that one puppy did manage to climb out.
SNARR posted on their Instagram that it’s sad to see the wickedness in the world; sometimes it’s too much to even consider.
Fortunately, the caller jumped into the water on their own and immediately pulled them out to safety without waiting for the rescuers to come.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, the SNARR crew carefully loaded them into their vehicle and hurried them to their headquarters in New York.
Not surprisingly, the puppies were in utter shock, unable to comprehend what had just transpired. After saving these two babies just in time, their medical examination revealed that their rescuer was, in fact, their hero!
How fortunate these frail creatures are to be alive. They now have a chance to live because of a kind Good Samaritan who courageously pulled them out of the stream, SNARR wrote.
Recovery Journey
These two puppies, later named Tucker and Charlotte, were in very bad shape. In addition to having water in their lungs, they also had parasites in their stomachs and road rash all over their bodies.
Fortunately, they were in the capable care of doctors who created a cure that would guarantee these two infants were back on their feet quickly.
Of course, a great deal of love, adoration, and affection was also a crucial component of this plan!

No one was surprised to discover that this idea was a complete success. During their stay at the SNARR, Tucker and Charlotte’s health significantly improved.
They fully emerged from their shells, demonstrating to everyone that they were eager to continue their healing process in a loving foster family!
At The Fosters
The two puppies were welcomed into the house of a caring foster family who were committed to showing them the true meaning of love.
These infants are now making the most of their days by engaging in enjoyable playdates, amazing adventures, and warm snuggle sessions.
According to their foster mother, they are the cutest newborns ever! They are affectionate and playful, and they are ecstatic to see you for the first time when they emerge from the kennel in the morning!Lauren F. of SNARR told The Dodo.
Everyone is certain that a loving forever home is just around the corner, despite the fact that these pups are still spooked by loud noises and large movements.
Laura stated, “They’re learning they’re in a safe place now.”
