The Maine State Police and the Boston Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation are still looking for 14-year-old Stefanie Damron of New Sweden, Maine.
For information that results in Stefanie Damron’s safe return and/or the arrest and punishment of anyone responsible for her disappearance, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000.

On September 24, 2024, Stefanie’s family filed a missing person’s report after she was last spotted leaving her home and entering the woods on West Road in New Sweden. She was reportedly dressed in black Harley Davidson hiking boots, blue trousers, and a long-sleeved blue blouse when she vanished.
Stefanie is a white woman with brown hair that reaches her shoulders and green eyes. She weighs about 130 pounds, stands about 5 feet tall, is homeschooled, and has little access to social media.
The FBI’s Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team (CARD), which consists of special agents with specialized training and experience in missing children cases, was sent to help Maine State Police with the search as soon as she was reported missing.
Stefanie is still missing after a thorough investigation that included a neighborhood canvas and video search, as well as a large grid search with dogs conducted by the Maine State Police and Maine Warden Service.
In Maine, throughout the nation, and in Canada, investigators have also followed up on possible leads and performed dozens of interviews.
