Florida Man Charged After Putting Spy Devices in Ex-Partner’s Residence!

CybersecdnDaniel Geiger, a 38-year-old resident of Coral Springs, Florida, faces serious legal repercussions following allegations of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and car to install secret recording devices. This intricate case of alleged surveillance has led to Geiger being charged with three felonies.

According to court documents, Geiger, who has a 5-year-old child with the victim, strategically placed recording devices in various locations within the ex-partner’s home, including a couch, bed mattress, and box spring. The unsettling discovery came to light after their child mentioned that her father was using these devices to listen in on them.

Surveillance footage showed Geiger repeatedly entering the victim’s residence and even installing a new lock on the door without her knowledge. In total, nine recording devices were discovered, with some ingeniously hidden within a mattress.

The charges against Geiger include two counts of felony burglary and one count of interception of oral communications. He was released on a $60,000 bond. This case highlights the alarming issue of privacy invasion and the use of surveillance technology in domestic settings.
