As a result, a lot of pet owners frequently ponder what their animals do when the lights go off. Before going to bed, one South Carolina owner put a camera in her dog’s crate because she was determined to find out.

Restless Night
As the opening makes clear, dogs do not view the night as a time for complete rest like humans do. Cats, their feline companions, also don’t. Aside from that, despite the fact that it shouldn’t be their function, many of them find crates to be a stressful atmosphere.
This was best demonstrated by @felicia_nik, a South Carolina dog owner, who placed a covert camera in the box where her puppy, Wheatie, was meant to sleep. She soon realized, though, that this Poodle-Bichon Fris mix was not sleeping at all.
Wheatie saw the camera shortly after it was put in the box and made multiple attempts to consume it. He attempted sleeping on his back with his paws in the air after multiple unsuccessful tries since he was a little tired.
That didn’t work for him either, though, so he immediately stood up and started searching for attention. He began fidgeting with his blanket uncomfortably in an attempt to kill time when he realized that no one would arrive.
Wheatie’s last hope was to get out of the crate, but sadly, time did not pass. He began biting the bars after sharpening his teeth. He had no choice but to lie down and go to sleep because, of course, that attempt had also failed.
He eventually prevailed after a protracted and challenging battle with the crate and with himself.
His mother couldn’t resist making a video and sharing it with her TikTok followers after seeing the scenes that her hidden camera had filmed.
As stated in the video title, “Watching this goober all night was the best decision we’ve ever made.”
