The City of Arlington, Texas Animal Services realized they needed to deploy a team to locate and take the stray to the shelter after receiving several reports from worried residents about her roving around the city.
The Pit Bull hybrid, who was subsequently given the name Bitsy, was said to be a joyful and energetic dog who enjoyed taking leisurely walks through the Texas neighborhood with no intention of stopping.
Fortunately, Bitsy found up at the devoted residence of one of the worried residents after one of her walks, which made it much simpler for Officer Allex Pollard to find her.
Meet Bitsy
It was obvious to Officer Pollard when she first saw Bitsy that she was with one of those puppies you never forget.
A representative from the City of Arlington, Texas Animal Services, tells People that Bitsy was lying on her back with her feet up in the air when she got at the address, looking as though she had just had the nicest day but was exhausted from all the fun. Additionally, the Texas shelter said that the majority of stray dogs they get are typically extremely frightened and overwhelmed. This was not the case with Bitsy, though.

Looking For A Home
The Texas shelter began getting her ready for adoption after her required 72-hour stray hold ended and no hooman reported her missing.
However, based on their observations while caring for her, the team feared that she might be hard of hearing or even deaf, therefore they designated her as a VIP Adoptable Pet.
Five days later, the shelter made the decision to put Bitsy in its adoption mall, which had a small number of kennels and was situated in front of the shelter.
Bitsy was then allowed to greet prospective pet owners who were coming to the shelter and wow them with her amazing smile.
Within seconds of arriving at the adoption mall, Bitsy, according to the spokesman, glanced out the window and flashed her adorable smile for everyone to see.
She was overjoyed! We weren’t surprised, to be honest, but it seems like she knew this was her opportunity to start a family! According to a shelter spokesman, she is much happier now than she was before and enjoys gazing out the window to watch staff or guests in the shelter.
Sadly, Bitsy failed to spark any interest in adoption despite her infectious grin and her subsequent rise to fame on Facebook.
