Cybersecdn– A Fulton County judge has made a significant ruling in the ongoing legal saga surrounding former President Donald Trump’s alleged interference in Georgia’s 2020 election. According to sources familiar with the matter, the judge has mandated that Terrence Bradley, a former law partner and divorce attorney of special prosecutor Nathan Wade, must retake the stand to testify on matters not covered by attorney-client privilege.
This decision comes after Judge Scott McAfee determined that certain communications between Wade and Bradley do not fall under the umbrella of attorney-client confidentiality. The move potentially opens the door to new revelations in the case, particularly regarding the relationship between Wade and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
The defense in the case, led by Michael Roman and several co-defendants, has been seeking Willis’s disqualification, alleging that she benefited financially from a personal relationship with Wade. Both Willis and Wade have acknowledged the relationship but have vehemently denied any conflict of interest, stating that it has not resulted in direct or indirect financial gain for Willis. The defense, however, claims that Bradley possesses evidence suggesting that the relationship began before Wade was hired, contradicting statements made by Willis and Wade to the court.
Bradley’s return to the stand is anticipated to shed further light on the nature of the relationship between Willis and Wade and could potentially impact the defense’s efforts to disqualify Willis from the case and have the charges dismissed. The former president, along with 18 others, pleaded not guilty in August to charges outlined in a racketeering indictment related to alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. Four defendants have since taken plea deals in exchange for testifying against others.
