Their Little Teddy Bear
Amanda Roache made the decision on November 10, 2024, to spend the day with her mother and grandparents. They intended to take a trip and catch up.
They couldn’t even imagine, though, that they would come upon a helpless puppy by the side of the road. Without pausing to consider their options, Amanda and her family stopped the car to assist him.
He was in terrible shape; he was covered in fleas and was unable to walk or sit up. Amanda made the decision to bring him back to the house since she realized they couldn’t just leave him there.
He was eating as though he had never seen food before when she gave him some there. Because she didn’t know how long he had gone without eating, she didn’t want to let him eat a lot.
Because he was coated with fleas, Amanda also gave him a thorough wash, which was very beneficial to him.
Amanda had to determine what to do with him once he was feeling a little better. She had no intention of adopting a dog that day, but she still wanted to make sure this youngster was secure.
For that reason, she made the decision to surprise her father by taking him to her parents’ house in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and that is just when the miracle occurred.
To say that Dad was overjoyed to see him would be an understatement. He was ecstatic. There was no question about Amanda’s decision after that. This dog joined their family as a full-fledged member on that day.
Everyone, even their other two dogs, a Great Pyrenees, and a stray, adored him once he rapidly adjusted.
The family chose the name Teddy because he was their new little Teddy bear. After that day, Teddy’s life and the lives of other family members were never the same.
