The unfairness and sadness of abandoning dogs and making them feel unworthy of love are beyond words.
After being abandoned in a truck bed at night by heartless individuals, four small Dogo Argentino puppies felt sad and afraid.
Four helpless infants were gathered together, cold and hungry, attempting to console one another. The cute animals began yelling because they missed their mother and wanted to be in her arms.
The four young siblings really wanted to meet decent people who would prove to them that they were deserving of love and respect.
A Rescue Mission
That same evening, Alex Towers, a native of Georgia, was making his way back to his pickup in the parking garage after working out at the gym.
In the bed of his truck, he found four underweight Dogo Argentino fur babies cowering after hearing the sudden yelping of canines. He was left feeling very depressed.
The puppies’ eyes were mournful as they gazed at him.
Towers realized the puppies needed emergency medical attention when he saw their bulging ribcage. He began phoning in an attempt to locate a nighttime pet hospital.
He drove the puppies to Veterinary Emergency Group, an animal hospital in Brookhaven, Georgia, as soon as he and his partner learned it was open.
The puppies received the necessary medical care and examinations from the hospital staff.
The staff offered to take in the puppies after reaching out to DC Dogos Rescue, a Florida-based canine rescue that assists Dogo Argentinos in finding forever homes.
The Rescue Takes The Pups In Their Care
Their foster, who lived close by, picked up the puppies the following morning and brought them home. He took care of them, loving and caring for them.
The adorable babies were taken to the Tampa rescue farm by a volunteer a few days later.
The crew offered the fur babies lots of cuddles and a warm welcome when they arrived.
The siblings frequently cuddled together because they were so close.
After driving them to Tampa, the volunteer decided to foster one of the babies after falling in love with her.
Two more Dogo Argentino fur pups were discovered in Atlanta shortly after the four puppies were brought to the rescue. They were also saved and taken to Tampa.
They were spotted by someone off the roadside and off the sidewalk. They were both eight weeks old, so it’s obvious they were just left there. “We’re thinking that they might be from the same litter or batch,” DC Dogos Rescue executive director Pamela Fay told PEOPLE.
After visiting the veterinarian, all six puppies were believed to be eight weeks old.
They had clearly been neglected from birth, yet they were supposed to fully recover.
For the fur puppies to gain weight, they needed to be dewormed and fed a healthy diet.
The adorable infants were well-cared for by the rescue crew.
The pups began to thrive a few days later.Watching them play and wag their tiny tails delighted the crew. They had hope in their lovely eyes.
Crysta, Magi, Zak, Hexxus, Justin, and Joey were the names given to the fur puppies.
Searching For A Home Filled With Love
Applications for the pups’ adoption are currently being accepted by the organization.
They will be prepared to move into their everlasting homes as soon as they fully heal.
Fay advises prospective adopters to learn as much as they can about the breed because puppies require a lot of activity and excitement.
If the adopters have any queries regarding the Dogo Argentino babies, she urges them to get in touch with them.
People want to get them because they are some of the cutest puppies ever, but they end up realizing they are too much. Although they’re a great breed, they’re simply not for everyone. When they reach adulthood, we therefore frequently witness them being dumped, Fay continued.
We are confident that the adorable dogs will soon find people who will adore them and lavish them with affection, as they so richly deserve.
We are incredibly appreciative of everyone who helped save these babies. We are eager for them to find loving, long-term homes.
