Man From Oregon Was Shocked To Learn This Pup Was Chained Outside Because Of His Separation Anxiety

The fact that some dog owners are ignorant of how to properly care for their pets is a sad reality.

They frequently overlook the fact that dogs are also sentient beings and that regular affection and love are essential to their happiness and well-being.

Regretfully, Harvey, a puppy, was raised in a setting that prevented him from doing the things that puppies are expected to perform.

He would, however, eventually meet two humans who would make his life the greatest thing ever!

Pup Named Harvey

Harvey was a family dog with severe separation anxiety before he found his ultimate home.

His former family believed that chaining him outside and keeping him apart from other people would be a smart approach to deal with him because they didn’t know how to treat a puppy with such a condition.

Before being sent to a pound in Oregon to find a new family, Harvey was unable to wander about freely for over a year.

After a while, a hooman who was searching for a furry buddy walked into the pound after observing that Harvey was the only dog in the kennel that would be quiet and keep to himself.

Harvey approached and completely leaned on him as they were in the play yard. Harvey’s mother, Olivia, told GeoBeats, “Oh yeah, you get the lean from the dog, you know that you are in.”

Olivia’s partner knew this was the dog for him the moment he met Harvey.

Harvey developed a strong bond with his father and would be devastated if he were to leave, even for a brief moment.

Fortunately, Harvey eventually understood that there was no need to panic because his loving home would always return.

Olivia and Harvey initially met when she went on their first date with his father. And, like the two of them, Harvey and Olivia fell in love right away.

New Life

Harvey’s life altered drastically after joining a new family.

He was never shackled or had his freedom curtailed, and he now leads an extremely active life full of adventures.

We like exploring every inch of Oregon, where we call home. “He’s doing all kinds of outdoor activities, like skiing and being in the snow,” she said.

Harvey is grateful that the family lives close to the river since he enjoys swimming and being in the water.

Harvey was able to put his past behind him and forge a close bond with his hoomans, with whom he enjoys spending time.

He has shown such independence and trust, and it has been wonderful to see him realize that just because I can take time away from my parents doesn’t mean they won’t be there when I return, she continued.

In addition to his devoted family, Harvey now has a smaller fuzzy sister!

Perfect Home

With his new family, Harvey really hit the jackpot. Regardless of the animal, Olivia is the kind of human who will love it unconditionally.

Any animal in my life will receive an endless supply of love, care, and compassion because that is the kind of relationship I would like to have with my pets, Olivia stated.

She acknowledges, though, that this puppy receives an extra layer of love and care because she is conscious of his past and want to make up for what he lost as a small, defenseless puppy.

I can assure you that she and her partner have done just that based on the appearance of this gorgeous puppy.
