Massachusetts pedestrian dies from injuries sustained from being struck by two vehicles

While crossing a street, a guy from Massachusetts was struck by two different cars and killed as a result.

Luis Zamora Gonzalez, 66, of Lawrence was struck by a 2014 Buick Enclave and a 2018 Infinity QX30 at just after 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday night while he was crossing Broadway in the area of the McDonald’s restaurant at 50 Broadway, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.

Medical staff, the Lawrence Fire Department, and the Lawrence Police Department all responded. On the spot, Zamora Gonzalez was declared dead.

The Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the Office of Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the Lawrence Police Department are all conducting investigations into the incident.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Luis Zamora Gonzalez,” said Paul F. Tucker, the district attorney for Essex County. During this extremely trying time, we hope that they may find support in the community.
