After winning a sizable sum of money on a State Lottery scratch ticket, a woman from Massachusetts has a clever plan.
The winner of the $1 million prize in the $2,000,000 50X Cashword $10 quick ticket game is Bebelin Galvez of Rehoboth, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
She earned a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes) for selecting the cash option for her reward. Galvez intends to put her winnings into investments.
She bought her winning ticket at Waltham’s Moody Spa, located at 811 Moody St. A bonus of $10,000 will be given to the retailer for selling this ticket.
Galvez is Bristol County’s second major victor in as many days.
