Allison Thomison, Evie’s mother, didn’t give it much thought when her cute deaf Pit Bull continued to stare at a wrecked truck.
Living on a 300-acre farm in rural Arizona, it was common for Evie to see a wild animal, such as a Gila monster or rattlesnake, at which she would gaze restlessly.
But her hooman went to look into it when she wouldn’t take her eyes off the truck Thomison’s husband was working on.
Shocking Discovery
Thomison realized what Evie was staring at without even coming close to the truck.
A small feline caught Evie’s attention! Thomison was surprised to learn that she was the owner of this cat.
Thomison had observed a small kitten following her cat, Noodle, everywhere he went a few weeks prior, and they appeared to be identical!
Thomison wasn’t sure if their striking resemblance was a coincidence or if they were indeed related, though, because Noodle was a neutered male cat.
However, Thompson chose to call the kitten Mini-Me, and just as he had arrived on the farm in Arizona, Mini-Me vanished once more until Evie figured out where he had been hidden all along.
Hide And Seek
There was more than enough space for a small kitten to get cozy because the truck’s entire powertrain was taken out while some work was being done on it.
It was a little challenging to get Mini-Me out of his new house, of course. He was quite wary of Thomison and made it plain to her that he had no intention of leaving anytime soon.
Thomison claims that Mini-Me, a recent arrival on the farm, enjoys spreading fear.
Fortunately, the kitten enjoys spending time with Thomison’s other three cats, and she likes to joke that the reason Evie got another cat is actually because she found him in the truck!
However, he still doesn’t truly like Evie, despite the fact that she was the one who found him.
“Every chance he gets, he swipes at Evie,” Thompson said.
Cat s Will Be Cats
Now, Mini-Me lives with a kind family that provides for all of his requirements, including a private area in a barn with air conditioning.
He doesn’t, however, particularly enjoy being told what to do or where to go because he is a cat.
He likes his truck more. “With his little trash can, he’s kind of like Oscar the Grouch; he just loves being in there,” Thompson said.
