Owner Refused To Give Up On A Pup With A Limp And Now He Is Running Around With A Smile

There are pictures and videos of their puppies on every dog owner’s camera roll.

Additionally, they want to show everyone how amazing their furry kid is, not just to stare at them when they miss them when they go out.

And who is to blame?

Leah Alisse of Temecula, California, is one such proud owner. There are many pictures of her cute Rottweiler puppy, Gunther, on her TikTok page, but one video in particular has won over hearts from people worldwide.

They Grow Up So Fat

When Gunther was just ten weeks old, Alisse got to know him. He was the lone puppy in the litter that no one wanted to adopt since he walked with a limp.

The puppies are typically put down in these situations, but Alisse couldn’t allow this cute puppy to suffer that fate.

Thus, she welcomed the puppy into her cozy house.

She was still quite anxious even though she knew it was the best choice she had ever made. Gunther would instantly begin to wobble if he attempted to stand up on his paws.

Seeing how awful it appeared was upsetting and unexpected. His leg was bending on itself and lacked stability at the ankle joint. In an interview, the breeder claimed that although the limp started a few weeks ago, his X-rays revealed no breaks and provided no answers.

Alisse started looking for solutions because she wanted to give him the greatest life possible. She was informed by one of the veterinarians that his limp was most likely caused by nerve damage from his mother dropping or sitting on him.

When Stars Align

Alisse got the brilliant idea to do the same to Gunther because her father-in-law was undergoing physical therapy for a foot drop.

She then started massaging him and stretching and exercising his leg. Within days, she became aware of something amazing!Gunther had a much better walk.

Within days, he already had stability on his leg and was running around trying to play with our other dogs, a husky and a rottweiler. His leg would still give out, but it was such a huge improvement in a short amount of time. She said that after two weeks, his leg was barely giving out anymore.

Two years have passed and Gunther is your average happy and healthy pup!His family is really proud of him.

He absolutely loves running around in fields and playing with everybody he comes across. Even thoughhe still has some laxity in his ankles, he is able to move around like a regular pup.

We are just so lucky to have Gunther. We had no idea we would be bringing him home that day, but he has been the sweetest and most well-behaved boy since the day we brought him home. He will play fetch all day if you let him, and he takes his ball everywhere with him,she concluded.
