A dumpster may contain a variety of items, but you won’t find a living thing there!
When a random bystander spotted odd activity within one, they assumed that was what was going on. The movement grew clearer and more forceful as they got closer to the dumpster.
They decided to step in after seeing that it was a little critter in need of assistance.
Nova s Tragic Backstory
Why would somebody abandon a defenseless animal in a dumpster?is most likely among the first thoughts that came to mind. But as soon as the bystander saw that this adorable boy needed assistance, they hurried to help him.
They put the dog down in front of PAWS Chicago after loading him into the car.
Nova was covered with a sheet at the time, making it difficult for the rescuers to assess his condition, but then a shocking event occurred!
Our crew was on their way to CACC last week when they noticed Nova, a dog, sitting outdoors with a tarp covering her. According to a bystander, a Good Samaritan had discovered him in a dumpster earlier and taken him there for assistance, PAWS Chicago reported in a Facebook post.
This poor little puppy needed emergency veterinary care due to a terribly diseased leg. His prognosis was unfortunately not favorable.
To save his life, Nova had to have his front limb amputated.
He suffered as a result of this unfortunate turn of events, but Nova eventually had the opportunity to start afresh. And a whole new life was waiting for him, as it happened!
Hello, World I m A Brand-New Boi Now
As soon as they heard his story, Charlie and his wife, who live in Chicago, fell deeply in love with Nova. They made the decision to permanently adopt him despite his impairment and provide him with a proper life, something he had never had.
During the first few weeks, Nova was quite reserved. He was awake, stayed in his kennel, and thought it odd that people were now so kind to him. He appeared somewhat amazed everytime he was given a great supper or a pat on the back.
Then the real change took place!
Nova settled into his new home completely and threw his arms around his family! Nova got everything in a short period of time, including a new furry brother named Omar.
Charlie told GeoBeats Animals, “He truly feels at home and you can tell that he’s just happy in a place that’s warm and safe.”
Nova doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, even if he still deals with his prior trauma on occasion.
Charlie went on to say, “He’s obviously been through a lot, has a lot of pain, and has mental scars, but even on his bad days, he’s still trying his best to be a sweet, sweet angel.”
He is incredibly kind, compassionate, and the greatest friend who cherishes each and every minute of life!
