Pennsylvania Rescue Solves The Mystery Of A Scared Animal, Revealing Shocking DNA Test Results

On a chilly, snowy day in Pennsylvania, Christina Eyth had something to see when she went outside her house.

Paw tracks of what looked like a dog were imprinted in the new snow, leading to her home.

Unusual Scene

Christina chose to follow the prints and see where they led her because the pattern worried her a lot.

According to Christina, “I noticed that there were dog prints that approached my door as if he was trying to get help.”

She came right outside her basement door after following the paw prints, and what she saw devastated her.

I observed this sad animal at that moment. She claimed that he was shaking and was quite chilly.

However, she was genuinely unable to identify the animal when she saw it.

Mystery Animal

Christina, nevertheless, wasn’t really focusing on the animal’s beauty. All she knew was that she needed to take it to a warm place.

Immediately, she made the decision to entice the animal into her basement, where she provided it with food and drink.

It was difficult to determine whose species the animal belonged to because it seemed to have had mange.

He never displayed signals of hostility, but I wasn’t positive. “I wanted to help an animal that I saw in need,” she stated.

Solving The Mystery

Christina made the decision to share the unidentified critter on her neighborhood bulletin board. Almost instantly, one of the volunteers from Tj’s Rescue Hideaway in Pennsylvania sent her a message.

Even the welfare group wasn’t entirely sure which animal was involved. Nevertheless, they were aware that it need assistance.

The group’s organizer, Maria, and her staff came out and caught him without causing him any harm. According to Christina, “[They] took him to Wildlife Works-Mount Pleasant for treatment and testing to confirm what he is.”

Whatever it was, the rescuers knew they had to treat this defenseless cat because the test results would not be available for weeks.

The animal was severely emaciated and had a severe case of mange.

The staff at the shelter had to be extremely delicate when giving the animal the medical care it required because it was also quite apprehensive and afraid of them.

But the most surprising event took place.

The unknown animal was only at the facility for a few days when it broke out and fled, never to be seen again.

But in the end, the results were in.

The small, frightened creature turned out to be a coyote, which is now back in its natural habitat.

Christina, however, was not at all alarmed by this because she is aware that she made the correct decision.”I wouldn’t have changed anything I did to help him, regardless of the test results,” she said.
