She dreamed of escaping her depressing reality and discovering her happy ending while a pregnant stray puppy was roaming the streets of Oklahoma.

She wanted her children to grow up in a compassionate household free from hunger.

The soon-to-be mother believed she was one step closer to realizing her dream when she was eventually saved and brought to a shelter.

She was put on the shelter’s euthanasia list after the two-year-old dog was sadly admitted to an overcrowded shelter.

Will anyone have the heart to lend her a hand when she most needs it?

Though she always hoped for a better future, the expectant pup—later named Mama Baskin Robbin—has begun to feel despondent.

The dog wished she could run out from the shelter’s walls and be free.

A Facebook post about Mama Baskin Robbins, who was set to be put down, caught the attention of seasoned foster Sara. It was an urgent request for assistance.

Sara realized she had no time to spend because the dog’s death was scheduled for 9 a.m.

The generous woman partnered with the Kansas City-based dog rescue, Pawsitive Tails.

At 8:30 a.m., only 30 minutes before the awful procedure, the nice humans contacted the shelter to inquire about Mama Baskin Robbin.
