The rescue crew was devastated when they first got on the scene and saw the frightened Chihuahua mix.

Rescuing A Terrified Pup
The puppy, who was subsequently given the name Brie, continued to wait for her family to come get her. Days passed while she searched for a sight of their faces.
Brie was unaware that her owners had deceived her and had left her behind permanently.

They made the decision to separate her using construction netting. Brie jumping the gates was their greatest concern.
Brie was caught after one of the trapping team members, George, cornered her with a catch pole.

She was adopted by Misfit Mutts Dog Rescue in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which pledged to assist her in finding amazing people.
Receiving The Unconditional Love
She was placed in a caring foster home after the rescue.
She had time to relax with her foster family. She met her animal foster siblings, a cat and a puppy, once she was more at ease.
Brie was a little more careful around the cat, but she liked playing with the puppy.
Meeting new individuals made her anxious. It was obvious that the dog needed time to gain confidence.
She received loving care and unwavering support from her foster family.
The puppy gradually began to show off her endearing nature. She became a lap dog.
Brie was prepared to begin looking for her place in the world because of the fosters’ unselfish devotion for her.
The best news was eventually shared by Misfit Mutts Dog Rescue. A forever home was found for their girl.
This tiny woman has adapted to her new routine and landed herself an amazing person. In a Facebook post, the rescue stated that they would be supporting Brie and her new family as they set out on this new journey together.
Meeting her furry foster sister, Mija, delighted Brie.
The two sisters enjoyed one other’s company. They liked to spy on the neighborhood and gaze out the window.
