However, I find it heartbreaking that tens of thousands of these four-legged animals are abandoned to the streets on a daily basis.
The most recent abandonment tale I read was heartbreaking. Left in a trash bag, Blanquita was a small canine with an inherited neurological condition! There are no adequate words to express how disappointed I am.
Fortunately, there are always people with a big heart to counterbalance the world’s callous people. Blanquita was fortunate enough to be found by one of them!
Heartless Act
Gio, a kind woman and seasoned animal rescuer, hurried to the downtown mansion where Blanquita was resting right away. When she received a call informing her that this poor puppy was on edge, she was astonished.
Her heart broke into a million pieces when she finally reached the location. She was laying on the street, unable to move her body due to lack of strength.
Blanquita lived on the streets for days, and despite her hazy past, it is clear that she had suffered a terrible accident. She was unable to utilize her hind legs due to severe injuries.
Blanquita was also severely anemic, had a neurological condition, and had broken ribs.
However, she never lost her sweet smile, even during what can only be described as the darkest of times. Now that she had the perfect people in her life, Blanquita had one more reason to live: love!
It Was A Long Road To Recovery, But She Made It
Gio picked up the puppy right away and took her to a veterinarian’s office. Blanquita required a blood transfusion right away because her condition was serious.
During the initial days, the whole team thought she would bear all the suffering and weather the most difficult storm of her life as a victor.Each and every minute of her care was important!
Fortunately for everyone, she was eventually safe a few days later. Blanquita survived and continued the life battle from a safer location because of her incredible rescuers.
She had a kind foster who looked after her all day and all night. However, she continued to receive her treatments! Blanquita liked her massages and physiotherapy sessions, which she received on a regular basis for the next few months!
She even received a customized wheelchair that made moving easier and supported her daily walkies.
She would always wag her tail and give everyone the cutest smile when she arrived at the clinic. She was truly a resilient girl all along, not wanting to back down and give up.
Eventually,after twelve months of hard and constant work, Blanquita recoveredfrom her past trauma and blossomed into a wonderful dog.
Despite her disorder, she now lives the best life possible, far away from that trash bag and life on the street. Blanquita is finally happy, and she absolutely deserves it!
