Rescuers From Pennsylvania Were Shocked When This Sweet Pup Was Returned To Their Shelter After 6 Years
We all probably understand by now how important family is to our furry pets.
They view us as their best friends, family, and favorite humans in addition to being their owners!
Therefore, it can have a major effect on their mental health when we part ways for any reason. How would you feel, after all, if you lost the love of your life out of the blue? Fortunately, there are many of individuals willing to help if something like this occurs.
They can’t change the past, but they can definitely improve the future.
Unfortunate News
When the non-profit, volunteer-run Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue in Pennsylvania spotted one of their adopted dogs six years prior, they assumed he had simply stopped by to say hello.
But after a short while, they discovered that his owners had come to give him up because they couldn’t take him with them as they were leaving the country.
Our hearts are aching for sweet Augie, who has returned to the kennel. He was returned without cause after six years in a loving home, and the adjustment has been quite difficult. This unfortunate man, who is anxious and perplexed and wonders where his family has gone, posted about the rescue on Facebook.
The puppy’s footage is utterly devastating.
He is sitting by himself in his kennel, so stressed up that he is trembling. However, his radiant smile is something you notice right away.
Augie manages to maintain a smile despite this heartbreaking event, demonstrating to everyone that he is not yet giving up on life.
No Longer Alone
After sharing the video on social media, people from throughout the nation came together to share their opinions in the comments section.
One family in particular couldn’t stand to watch this adorable boy in such sorrow.They made contact with the shelter in Pennsylvania and offered to adopt him.
The news thrilled the shelter, and they were more than delighted to do so.
However, there is hope because of our wonderful community; a family contacted us to expand their Greenmore family. Augie found his forever home in less than twenty-four hours. The shelter posted an update, saying, “We are so grateful for your continued support in making these happy endings possible.”
With a loving home and a cute fuzzy brother to keep him company, this cute puppy no longer had to be alone.
His amazing tale demonstrates to everyone the strength of a community when its members choose to set aside their differences and cooperate.
