Rescuers Were Shocked To Find Dog Tied To A Pole And Saw That He Was Looking For Food In The Trash Nearby
Sadly, there are many cases of dogs being mistreated in every way all around the world. Fortunately, there are also many kind rescues who are willing to go above and beyond to assist these animals.
Because of this, Sabine, a Little Steps Matter rescuer, and her coworker were devastated when they saw a severely starved dog tethered to a pole with her head in a trash bag while she was searching for food.
They were unable to contain their tears as they untied the rope and released the puppy, who was not afraid of them at all.
However, the two rescuers took solace in the knowledge that this puppy would never be mistreated again when they picked her up and carried her to a facility that would finally care for her.
Finally Safe
The pup, now known as Lisa, was in pretty horrible form, and the rescuers understood that she had been mistreated for a long time and couldn’t have gotten this awful in a few days.
The fact that someone abandoned her in this manner was incredibly cruel. When they dropped her, they tied her up so she couldn’t flee, Sabine told The Dodo.
Lisa received a nose-to-tail examination at the veterinary clinic after the rescuers hurried her there.
She had mange, was seriously dehydrated, and even had early-stage cancer, according to the veterinarians.
The animal was placed on an intravenous line and maintained at the veterinary clinic for 24-hour monitoring.
Recovery Time
Lisa’s condition was beginning to improve after just two days at the clinic.
She seemed a little more animated and was waving her tail joyfully as she greeted us. Lisa stated that she was given permission to leave the clinic after five days and returned home to our safehouse.
When Lisa initially arrived at her new house, she felt a little overwhelmed. She wasn’t used to the love and care she received from everyone, so she wasn’t sure what to do with herself.
It was fortunate that she quickly realized that this was the right way of living. With each day that went by, Lisa’s mood began to improve, and the shine in her eyes showed everyone how happy she was.
This adorable little puppy came out of her shell after only ten days in the shelter. She put on a lot of weight, and her gorgeous fur began to regrow.
Lisa had no cancer four weeks later!
At last, she had the strength to play and socialize with other dogs.
She initially felt a little overwhelmed, but our pack is typically very kind to newbies, and she was adjusting to everything rather nicely. According to Sabine, Lisa truly began to develop into a fun adolescent with a kind and affectionate disposition.
New Life
Lisa’s life was transformed; she felt and looked like a brand-new dog.
She is now a lively dog who enjoys playing, running, and spending time with humans, especially on the beach.
She’s searching for a forever home, too!
Lisa is a little mixed-breed dog, about a year old.At first, she is a little reserved, but after she realizes she is safe, she will open up.
Sabine said, “Lila is a miracle dog and deserves the best.”
