Although Jess has always loved dogs, Roo surprised her.
Over the course of her three weeks at a vacation house, she continued to show up at her door every morning in search of solace.
She made the decision to stay close and sleep beneath Jess’s house as a precaution as soon as she was treated with love and care. However, Roo’s life was drastically altered by what she got in return a few weeks later!
She Almost Didn t Look Like A Dog
When Jess first spotted Roo curled up in front of her door, her heart broke. Given her thin body and the fact that she hardly moved, she was seeking assistance.
Jess chose to step in because Roo appeared to have gone days without eating.
She hardly resembled a dog at all when we first met her. She was quite thin and leaned over eating something. Jess told Cuddle Buddies that she was simply little and weak as well.
Roo has never lost her eerily endearing smile in spite of everything. The dog followed her everywhere because she was just happy that Jess given her a chance.
After three weeks, it was decided that Roo would have to bring Jess home, and not just as a foster child! She deserved a permanent home and a friend, and Jess was that someone!
Roo underwent a veterinary examination prior to the two of them setting out on a whole new journey. That’s when Jess got another shock!
She mistakenly believed that Roo was a 12-week-old puppy, but in reality, she was an almost adult dog!
The two embarked on a lovely voyage together after bidding farewell to a holiday house.
It’s safe to say that Roo truly understood what true love meant in every manner after that!
Today, Roo Is Unrecognizable
It took Jess and Roo months to get used to living together. Roo quickly emerged from her shell and changed into a stunning puppy who didn’t resemble her previous self at all.
She’s quadrupled in size now, contrary to what I was told she wouldn’t grow much more, Jessica remarked.
Then her real, eccentric personality began to show!
For pleasure, Roo liked to get into mischief and make artistic messes. She also enjoyed jumping into every puddle she came across, and Jess is so glad to see her succeed.
Eventually, this rescued dog became a true friend. She was excited to make as many friends as she could and couldn’t wait for each day to dawn.
Roo developed into a genuine city girl, an adventurer, a hiker, and a people-oriented dog! She was a complete person!
Jess will always be appreciative of the chance to meet Roo that day. It seems as though she was adopted by this lovely girl rather than the other way around.
I will always be thankful for my little sidekick Ru, and it’s clear that she enjoys life as well. Jessica ends another post.
