The Andover Police Department recently conducted a successful search for a missing elderly man with the assistance of the Air Wing, K-9, and Drone Units.

Authorities were concerned about the man’s safety if he spent a lot of time outside in the cold.


In the air, troopers found the individual in the woods next to a house, and they led ground-based teammates to him.

The individual was treated for hypothermia at a nearby hospital after first responders arranged for emergency transfer.
