A viral TikTok posted by Tara Rule (@pogsyy) has ignited anger online after she claimed to overhear Texas Roadhouse corporate managers discussing plans to terminate an employee who is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU). The video, posted on August 22, has garnered over 2.2 million views. In the clip, Rule is seen sitting in an airport food court in Washington, D.C., while attempting to capture audio from a nearby conversation between two people she identifies as Texas Roadhouse corporate employees.

According to the on-screen text, Rule overheard the managers plotting to send the ICU worker’s husband a fake benefits package, with the intent to trick him into signing a termination agreement. “They’re trying to figure out how to send her a fake benefits package… so her husband will have to sign for it, so it’ll show she received the termination agreement in a sneaky way,” Rule claimed. She added that the managers were discussing the worker’s failure to call in after being hospitalized, which they found out through Facebook.

Rule provided further details in the comments, describing the corporate agent as a “white woman in her 50s with a blonde Karen cut” and mentioning a person named “Kim,” whom she assumed to be an HR manager or the hospitalized employee. Rule concluded her TikTok by warning anyone who knows someone in the hospital working for Texas Roadhouse not to sign any suspicious packages.
