For many people, adopting a dog can be a challenging decision. While some of us care about a dog’s size or age, others have specific breeds in mind.
All of these things are significant, but it’s also critical to remember that a puppy may have experienced trauma in the past, but that doesn’t mean that he should be ignored.
Dogs who are a little nervous or easily frightened are still deserving of affection, and they can adjust their behavior once they understand that they are with their favorite person in a secure setting.
For ten dollars, this woman chose to adopt a dog. What she did not anticipate, though, was that he definitely behaved differently from other dogs.
Kylie s New Dog
Kylie Judson was going through a tough time when she initially adopted Brodi, a 3-year-old Labrador mix, from a Florida shelter.Brodi, she believed, could help change that somewhat.
She saw something strange about Brodi, despite the fact that he was only three months old when she first adopted him.
It may have taken this dog some time to become used to living in a new home where he was treated kindly because he may have come from an abusive home.
Brodi was abnormally nervous whenever they went for walks on Florida’s streets. He would constantly cause a commotion and was not accustomed to being on a leash.
He would either refuse to move or try to move in the opposite way. On the leash, he would even attempt to bite.
Kylie thought this was kind of funny, so she decided to video one of these instances and share it on TikTok.
A Hilarious Reaction
She wrote the following as a description when she first posted the video: I adopted a ten dollar dog in my twenties, and I’m now controlling both of our anxiety levels.
People who had experienced a similar circumstance or thought the entire movie was hilarious responded to the clip in a variety of hilarious ways.
“Mine was $5 (and then $3600 in training so he didn’t lose it every time he saw a person or dog),” someone added.
Alright, so knowing that the dog is doing much better now is at least comforting. The fact that Brodie isn’t the only one coping with these problems doesn’t surprise me.
Another person said:So we all are in our 20s and trying to manage our dogs crippling anxiety I found my community.
Well, I guessthere are way more people who are in this situation than I thought. It’s helpful to know.
Lastly, somebody commented:Prong collar promise you it s not a torture device like some try to say. Helps WONDER and gives them direction.
Well, I am not sure about that, but it might be a good idea to try for a short period of time to see if it works. You never know.
Nevertheless, it was really hilarious reading all the reactions from other people andit s good to know that all these dogs have someone amazing to take care of themand help them overcome their anxiety.
