Few people are not fond of surprises. That feeling is just amazing, regardless of whether it’s something as basic as chocolate or something more costly like a cell phone.
Some people can surprise someone they care about for no other purpose than to perform a good deed. One woman did just that when she and her husband returned from a trip to Florida.
This woman astonished her husband by bringing home something considerably larger than the groceries, even though she had gone to the grocery shop.
Overcrowded Shelter
Elaine Buhs and her husband went to the grocery shop to acquire some necessities as soon as they got back to their Des Moines, Iowa, home.
Although she did purchase those items, she made a stop at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, a shelter where she volunteered, on her way home.
She realized then that the shelter was overcrowded, and because she was feeling upbeat, she made the decision to take action.
When she got back to the car, Buddy, a 10-month-old Great Pyrenees mix, was in the back while bread, milk, and other goods were on the front seat.
In addition to volunteering at the shelter, Eliane is a content creator, so she posted a video of her project on TikTok under the handle @dog_momdsm.

A Big Furry Surprise
Elaine requested a little puppy or one that was exhausted from the shelter setting when she arrived.
A 10-month-old Great Pyrenees mix that was in dire need of a vacation was recommended right away by the staff and volunteers. Before meeting him, Elaine thought of him as a cute small dog that she could hold in her hand.
When she discovered that this puppy was actually just slightly smaller than a tiny horse, she was astounded. In addition to being enormous, he was completely unsocialized because he was a member of an unwanted litter from the farm.
Buddy was so uneasy when they got home that Elaine was unable to bring him inside.
She then summoned her husband for assistance, and he hurried to her aid, assuming she was asking him to help her carry in the groceries.
He was even more startled to learn that it was a puppy after witnessing her struggle with a large dog. Nevertheless, they were able to get Buddy inside the house in spite of all the challenges.
He simply ran away from people and hid under tables for a while, but eventually he calmed down and began to adjust to his new environment. Until he gets over his fear, this large hairy surprise will remain in his makeshift house.
Even though Buddy was not a very welcome surprise to Elaine’s husband, he was now accustomed to him and was happy that Buddy’s visit was a really kind gesture.
